Ornitología

Approximately 70 different bird species live across our 2,100 hectares of semi-desert wilderness in the El Zamorano mountain range! In fact, a recent wildlife survey conducted by the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ) found that over 80% of all vertebrates on the UMA were birds!

Walk along more than 32 kilometers and admire the panoramic views of the mountain canyons and forest landscapes in search of the SEMARNAT protected American Bushtit, the Elusive Wild Turkey or your personal favorite!

Stargazing

The night sky at 2,400m (7,900 ft) above sea level looks absolutely incredible during the night! There is no light pollution and we have over 300 days of sunshine each year. Our clear skies make it the perfect stargazing trip.
